Respectrum

Empowering The Individual

Respectrum Advisory Services Ltd  provides bespoke alternative provision, targeted school-based and home interventions, assessments, and clear, practical SEND advice to parents and caregivers, schools, and local authorities.

About Respectrum

We specialise in bespoke alternative provision (AP) designed around the individual needs of each child or young person. Our provision balances academic learning delivered by qualified SEND tutors with functional skills development, including social and community engagement, SEMH support, and communication skills. We recognise that progress looks different for every learner, and our work is built around realistic, meaningful outcomes rather than one-size-fits-all expectations.

Respectrum is led by our Director, Su Sengupta, a highly experienced Senior Advisor with a specialising supporting with neurodivergent children and young people and a strong background in SEND, inclusion, and person-centred practice. Su offers therapeutic, person-centred interventions that support families, schools, and local authorities, helping to bridge gaps where traditional systems have not worked well. Her approach is collaborative, reflective, and grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience.

‘Bespoke alternative provision for children and young people who need something different to succeed’

At Respectrum, we work flexibly and constructively with families, schools, and local authorities, valuing clear communication, honest advice, and practical solutions. Our aim is to support systems to work better for the children and young people at the centre — not the other way around.

A Comprehensive Range Of Skills

Our multidisciplinary team includes a range of skilled professionals, allowing us to provide joined-up support across education, emotional wellbeing, and functional development. This includes a specialist teacher who can advise, assess, and diagnose dyslexia, as well as carry out comprehensive learning assessments.

We also work alongside an experienced child and adolescent therapist and an occupational therapist, ensuring that learning, wellbeing, and sensory needs are considered together rather than in isolation. We also work collaboratively with partners and associates to provide a complete diagnostic package.
