Specialist Assessment & Diagnosis
Respectrum provides and contributes to a range of specialist assessments designed to build a clearer understanding of an individual’s strengths, needs and profile. This includes specialist learning assessments and dyslexia assessment, alongside autism diagnostic assessment delivered as part of a multidisciplinary diagnostic process.
Our approach focuses on developing a meaningful understanding the individuals strengths, needs and profile. Assessment findings are translated into clear, practical recommendations that can inform education, support, reasonable adjustments and everyday life.
Private Assessment
Respectrum provides specialist assessment and diagnostic services on a private basis and operates independently of NHS diagnostic services and referral pathways.
Where autism diagnostic assessment is undertaken, this is delivered collaboratively with appropriately qualified professionals and in accordance with relevant current clinical guidance.

Location(s) and Transport Offer
Respectrum covers Suffolk and surrounding areas. Sessions are usually delivered in the YP’s home or local community, with suitable locations agreed in partnership with families and commissioning teams.
Our Approach To Assessment
We recognise that assessment can be a significant process for individuals and families. Our approach is person-centred and neurodiversity-affirming, recognising strengths alongside areas where support may be needed and considering the individual within the context of their everyday life and environment.
Where appropriate, assessment findings can help inform educational planning, reasonable adjustments, support strategies and provision, including recommendations relevant to an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
